Are you smarter than a third grader?

Prove it.

Answer this: what does it mean to live a life of faith, hope, and love?

Jesus promised his disciples that he came so that we have life, and have it more abundantly. In this week’s sermon, Rev. Susan Marner-Sides will remind us that Christ’s gift of eternal life enables us to live differently, here and now.

Scripture

“I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”

–John 10:9-10

Sweet Truth #13

Because of all of God’s great and amazing gifts to us, we are called by God to live every day being thankful, hopeful, and believing.

Why?

Because we are so grateful to our Heavenly Father, Jesus his Son, and the Holy Spirit–thankful that all of our needs are met so well, in God’s grace!

With the wonderful love of God all around us, every moment, we can live our lives with faith, hope, and love–for the Lord and for other people. You and I can be helpful, generous, kind, and loving toward everyone, because we want to share and show the goodness that we receive in God.
