“No one puts new wine in old wineskins.” (Luke 5:33-39)

Following Jesus requires us to be stretched. In Luke 5:33-39 he uses the image of new wineskins to describe how important it is to allow ourselves to grow as disciples.

Too often we find ourselves falling back into old patterns. Our faith should lead us in new directions. Today we pray for the bravery to be vessels of the new wine of the gospel.
