Ash Wednesday prayer
Last night was our Mardi Gras supper. It was a time of celebration and fellowship before the discipline of Lent begins. The 40 days of Lent recalls Jesus’ 40 days in the wilderness before starting his ministry.
Lent begins with our Ash Wednesday service at 6 p.m. Please join us in the sanctuary or online. We will all be invited to undertake a discipline. This morning we pray that this time will help draw us closer to Christ.
