“They spoke to the Greeks also.” (Acts 11:20)

Are we willing to let the Gospel takes us outside our comfort zone?

Peter’s vision of all things being made clean was a revolutionary message. It required him and the early church to reach out to Gentiles with the message of the Gospel. The Holy Spirit forced them outside their cultural and linguistic comfort zone.

The same thing is true for us. The idea that Jesus died for all challenges us to see others as also made in the image of God. If the Lord’s hand is truly on us, we must be willing to overcome the barriers of our world and be transformed by the reconciling message of the kingdom of God.
