Every year Lily and I make a pilgrimage to the Research Triangle of North Carolina to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. As always, the food was delicious, the company delightful, and we managed avoid most of the storms that engulfed much of the upper Midwest. Hopefully Iowa’s roads will be a little better when we head north at Christmas to see my side of the family.
